Introduction

The Civil Society Development Foundation Hungary (CSDF Hungary) and Fundraising Competence Group GmbH introduce a new award for celebrating fundraising success stories of the recent years and promoting best practices of the emerging nonprofit sectors in Central and Eastern Europe.  It is our firm belief that fundraising from individuals is indispensable for the credibility, independence and sustainability of nonprofit organizations. Several nonprofit organizations in the region have conducted fundraising campaigns using a wide range of tools. Some of them were highly effective; some of them haven´t fully reached their goals. We are seeking the most effective fundraising campaign; the best combination of strategic thinking, innovative and creative techniques, and breakthrough outcomes.

The Award

The winner will be rewarded with 5,000 USD. The winner* may use the money for any organizational purpose. We will also provide coverage in the international nonprofit media, and winner can promote the award and the organization in its country.

* CSDF Hungary may give a maximum of two awards, 2,500 USD each, in case of a tie in the ratings of the Evaluation Panel
